About Us
I am an avid fan of anything spotted. Nature has all the cats in the wild with either strips or spots and I am not one to go against Mother Nature! I do own a couple of one colour (self) cats but the majority have spots and strips. It can be quite a challenge to breed a good spotted or tabby cat, but the reward is stunning. There are the bad days when I wonder why I do this at all. There are the good days when one of those tiny kittens, turns out to be a complete stunner and it makes it all worth while. It is not a hobby for the faint hearted.
History
I started off in the cat world with the notion of breeding Persian's but I did not want to breed them with the very flat noses. I felt could not do that to a cat, so decided that it was best to back away, after all I was completely new and did not want to make enemies before I had even bred my first cat. I had a persian stud and three half persian/half moggie girls. I had several very nice litters from the girls and decided I would like to breed true pedigree kittens. I have settled on the British breed. They fit very well into family life and are very good at dealing with the comings and goings of our house hold. I have a Pomeranian and a King Charles cavalier and a seventeen year old son, and so far, all the cats cope with all this entails, completely in their stride.
